Louie Ortiz
3rd–4th Grade Teaching Principal
Mr. Ortiz has a AS, BS, MS & Ed.S. in education. He attended several universities including La Sierra. He enjoys music and art and currently serves as Director of Music at the Murrieta Springs SDA Church. Mr. Ortiz is a Master Guide in Pathfinders and he loves nature. His favorite bible passage is Proverbs 3: 5, 6.
Joyce Palitang
7th and 8th Grade Teacher
Mrs. Palitang has taught for 8 years, and this is her first at MSACA. She studied at La Sierra University and earned her Masters of Arts in Teaching. Fun Fact: she knows how to speak, write, and read Korean! Her favorite bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11: "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Liz Capizano
Music Teacher (Chorus/Bells)
Mrs. Capizano has been with MSACA for 16 years. She has been teaching for 42 years and has a Bachelor of Music Education, with credential in Elementary Education from Southern Adventist University (former Southern Missionary College). She also has a Master of Arts (MA) in Curriculum and Instruction, with certificate in ESL from National University.
Favorite scripture; Psalm 61:2, “From the end of the earth I will cry to You, When my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.”
Ivone Quintero
Administrative Assistant
We welcome Mrs. Quintero as our new Administrative Assistant. She has been a long-time parent at MSACA and is dedicated to our school community. She enjoys family, church, and pets. She has a strong love for the Lord and believes in the power of prayer. Her favorite verse is: “But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord!” Joshua 24:15
